Gabrielle Bass created Wall Street Edge after going through investment banking recruiting as a career switcher without a finance background. While pursuing her MBA at the Darden School of Business, she found the process—and the available resources—overwhelming and confusing. Even the more advanced prep materials felt too complex for someone learning the concepts for the first time.

She built what she wished she had: a clear, digestible approach to mastering technicals and navigating the recruiting process effectively.

After earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Gabrielle worked in strategic roles before pursuing her MBA at the Darden School of Business, where she received a merit scholarship. She later joined Evercore, a leading investment bank, where she advised companies across the software, data, information, media, sports, entertainment, and marketplace sectors on M&A transactions. Gabrielle also completed her summer internship at Evercore before returning full-time.

At Evercore, Gabrielle played a pivotal role in the firm’s recruiting program—overseeing analyst and MBA interviews, running Superdays, and mentoring candidates throughout the highly competitive process. These experiences gave her a full-circle perspective on recruiting and unique insight into what top firms demand and how candidates can stand out.

In addition to her recruiting work, Gabrielle also developed a one-of-a-kind Pre-Internship Training Program—informed by her experience as a summer intern, her understanding of common pain points, and her time training and working alongside interns in her full-time role. The program is designed to help students add value on day one and significantly increase their chances of receiving return offers.
